Mississippi Blues Society Website
The Mississippi Blues Society is based in the Ottawa Valley on the beautiful Mississippi River. Our local area is surrounded by small traditional Ontario towns. In these small towns - notably Carleton Place, Ontario, live the most talented group of Blues musicians you would find anywhere in the world.

The Mississippi Blues Society was founded to celebrate this great local live musical tradition. The MBS is not a Society that sits around drinking cocktails and talking about obscure blues being played somewhere else in the world. The MBS is made up of artists and fans of these artists. We get down and dirty, supporting and promoting live performances in our area.
The MBS supports up-and-coming young artists by giving them stage time with veteran players.
